DataSnipper had the pleasure of connecting with top airlines like Delta, JetBlue, Air Canada and more at the N3A (National Association of Airline Auditors) Conference in Las Vegas. The hot button topic: Automation, automation, automation.

Beyond hosting a lively happy hour with folks from various airlines, the DataSnipper team loved joining N3A sessions and learning about the evolving role of Internal Audit teams at airlines.

Rob Eyckmans, Senior Account Executive at DataSnipper, delivered a presentation around AI-powered auditing in aviation and why embracing intelligent automation will give airline auditors a leg up when it comes to executing tasks faster and minimizing the risk of human error.

Key takeaways: How AI and Intelligent Automation are transforming Internal Audit at Airlines

  • There are a lot of “As” and “Is” to keep track of between AI, IT (Intelligent Automation) and IA (Internal Audit).
  • AI is complementary to auditors’ jobs, not a replacement. In fact, 84% of auditors believe AI will augment their capabilities, but not replace their jobs (DataSnipper AI Audit Report).
  •  Increased regulatory pressure will demand more frequent and detailed audits. Intelligent Automation will make real-time auditing more seamless and secure.
  •  AI tools like DataSnipper will accelerate document prechecks, streamline data extraction, and validate and verify key information in real-time.

Bonus: DataSnipper x Frontier Airlines

DataSnipper CEO, Vidya Peters, recently spoke with Adam Neifach, Senior Manager of Internal Audit at Frontier Airlines, at GAM 2025 – The Great Audit Minds Conference.

Their conversation, Enter the Era of Intelligent Automation in Finance & Audit, focused on how important the work auditors do in the background affects every element of our daily lives. With talent attrition, burnout, and increasing regulatory requirements on the rise, bolstering audit teams is more important than ever.

Adam Neifach said DataSnipper has been pivotal in decreasing tedious work for his team. “We’ve saved 40-50 hours on average per engagement”. This has freed up Frontier’s internal audit team to focus on higher-value tasks, especially during busy periods.
